“That was life, oo ah, that’s how you lived it and now you little brains are here to defend it. I know you’re gonna do just swell, if not, you’ll go to hell.”
Lines from the movie “Defending Your Life” (1991)
Fighting is not something that I would recommend but there are some things worth fighting for no matter what the cost. These fights do not have to be physical battles. In fact to put in subtler words, let’s rephrase the central idea to “Three things worth defending/protecting”. Though depending on the problem they can be very physical, they could even result to death. So when you read this think of what you would do in one of these situations. The three most important things to me worth fighting for are my life, my family, and my freedom.
The most important thing to fight for to me is my life. A person should always fight for their life. If a person is threatening your life in any way you should fight so hard that they wished they had never attempted to hurt you. This can be done legally or physically. And by life, I don’t just mean living and breathing. Your life has its intangible values too and you should do your utmost to defend those values. Let it be the virtues, your status, your faith or your respect. I cannot befriend anyone to the limit that they should devalue any one of those principles that I hold earnestly.
Also a family is a very important thing to have. If anyone should try to come in the way of your family they should be put to regret. Your family is there for you to lean on when you need support and love. That is why my family is the most important thing to me to fight for. It’s my selfless cornerstone in times of distress, when I feel I can rely on no one. And that’s how may be all feel about their families too.
In addition to the other two-some, my third thing to fight for would be my freedom. My freedom is very important to me. I would fight so I would not be under communistic rule or enslaved in any way. Also I would fight to stay out of prison if I was falsely accused. I was born to be wild free and until and unless I do something myself that debilitated that freedom, no body can take that away from me.
In conclusion to what I feel, it is wrong to take someone’s life away, harm their family or take there freedom away. These are all very important and basic things in anyone’s life to fight for. They should be important to anyone. So for me too, my life, my family, and my freedom are the most important things in my life. What’r yours? 🙂
